In this book, you will learn about HF, VHF, and UHF along with the many reasons why you should be interested in amateur radio. While being involved with Amateur Radio I have discovered there are so many things I can do with my new hobby. I have found the list of things you can do and learn is almost endless.

I am fascinated by the digital aspects of the hobby because of my experience with computers. Everyone will have their own area of interest. Eventually, they will settle into some areas of Amateur Radio where they feel comfortable. New Hams sometimes get confused as to what direction they could take. I was there myself. OK, I have my license what should I do now? VHF/UHF and HF radios are a good start. Some Hams spend thousands of dollars on equipment. But I have found you don’t have to break your budget to enjoy the hobby.

I want to help make things easy to understand. No matter what direction you take with Amateur Radio you will enjoy it.
